Okolo/Around is an artistic project that uses public spaces to present the public with unexpected art installations. The name itself suggests the nature of this exhibition — it is not placed in a gallery or in a museum. To experience it you have to go around on foot. Spaces such as ruined buildings, street signs and laps, plants, passages etc are turned into art.
Nas dve, a collective behind Okolo, approached Maji to create the identity of this project as well as its applications whether they were print materials such as maps and invitations or digital content for web and social media. The result was the red circle that came from three three O letters in the Croatian name of the project. The red circle was later used as a "pin" on the map as well as a method of reviling and hiding a location while an art installation was made. The final result, an installation, is later emphasized in the outline of the red circle. Though simple, this project got the identity that is powerful, noticeable and consistent in all of its applications.
